What are the full eligibility requirements for the program?

As a pilot program, enrollment will be limited. Contact us at 228-938-1999 or waystosave@mississippipower.com to express your interest and check your eligibility. 

STAR runs from July 2021 through April 2022. To participate, you must:

-- Be a Mississippi Power residential electric customer. 
-- Have an always-on Wi-Fi network.
-- Have a central air conditioning unit or heat pump in suitable operating condition. Homes with window units, wall units or evaporative coolers do not qualify.
-- Generally operate your A/C unit(s)during Mississippi Power summer peak periods (approximately 1-8 p.m.).
